Love Snow & Christmas.

Christmas is definitely my favorite time of year. These past few post graduate years, I’ve felt like a bit of a scrooge but I’m feeling in the Christmas spirit this time around. I realized that I love to give presents & that I love thoughtful gifts much more than electronics or clothes. Don’t get me wrong, the electronics are good too, but I could buy them myself. Give me homemade sweets, A movie or a scrapbook and I’m good to go.
But this year, I had a lot of fun putting together the gifts for my family and friends. I’m greatly anticipating their reactions and hoping they’re as excited to receive them as I am to give them. Presents are wrapped and under the tree and the Christmas countdown has officially begun.
I think this season isn’t even about the presents, it’s about the memories with loved ones, the thankfulness for health and life & and joy you can bring to the people you love and those who need it during a time when everyone could use a little bit of hope and a warm smile.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Enjoy the time with the people you love.

“Whenever I get gloomy about the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion is starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don’t see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it’s not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it’s always there- fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the twin towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge. They were all messages of love. If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling that you’ll find that love actually is all around”
