Christmas is definitely my favorite time of year. These past few post graduate years, I’ve felt like a bit of a scrooge but I’m feeling in the Christmas spirit this time around. I realized that I love to give presents & that I love thoughtful gifts much more than electronics or clothes. Don’t get me wrong, the electronics are good too, but I could buy them myself. Give me homemade sweets, A movie or a scrapbook and I’m good to go.
But this year, I had a lot of fun putting together the gifts for my family and friends. I’m greatly anticipating their reactions and hoping they’re as excited to receive them as I am to give them. Presents are wrapped and under the tree and the Christmas countdown has officially begun.
I think this season isn’t even about the presents, it’s about the memories with loved ones, the thankfulness for health and life & and joy you can bring to the people you love and those who need it during a time when everyone could use a little bit of hope and a warm smile.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Enjoy the time with the people you love.
